The KSET test is for those aspirants, who want to get an appointment as lectureship/Assistant Professor and conducted by the University of Mysore. The University of Mysore is a Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC, for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test. The KSET test will be conducted once in a year to make the rigorous merit-based selection for the entry level of the teaching profession.

Karnataka State Eligibility Test Answer Key 2021: KSET Cut off Marks

The KSET test successfully conducted on 11th April 2021 in two separate sessions. The test was consisting of three papers consist of only Multiple-choice Questions (MCQ). According to the notification, aspirants are required to obtain minimum marks separately in Paper 1, Paper 2 and Paper 3. The KSET cut off marks for General Category for paper 1, paper 2 and paper 3 will be 40%, 40%, and 50% respectively. And KSET cut off marks for Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, SC, ST, PWD(VH/PH) for paper 1, paper 2 and paper 3 will be 35%, 35%, and 40% respectively.

KSET 2021 Selection Procedure

The aspirants must attempt 50 questions from paper 1 and all questions of paper 2 and paper 3 in order to qualify for the next phase of recruitment. Also a candidate who does not appear in Paper 1 and Paper 2 will not be permitted to appear for Paper 3, so those who have not appeared in the paper 1 and 2 are directly disqualified.
