Life Insurance Corporation of India invites online applications from interested and eligible candidates who are Indian citizens for appointment to the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist). The candidates can apply through online mode only and no other mode of application will be accepted.
The LIC AAO Recruitment 2016 is for 700 available vacant posts out of which 106 for SC, 53 for ST, 192 for OBC and 349 for unreserved candidates. LIC AAO Recruitment Exam 2016 Pattern and Syllabus
The LIC AAO examination will be of an objective type of 160 questions consists of 300 marks. The candidates will be given 120 minutes to solve all the questions.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. The candidates keep in mind that they must pass in each section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the interview.

The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online examination followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre Recruitment Medical examination.
