Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is commonly known as UPSEE. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is the conducting authority of UPSEE 2020 examination. This is the entrance examination for those students who have appeared in the 12th Class final examination and want to pursue higher education.

The students, who successfully passed the UPSEE 2020 will be able to get an admission to First Year of B. Tech /B.Arch. / B.Pharm./ BHMCT / BFAD / BFA / MBA / MCA / MAM And 2nd Year of B. Tech. / B.Pharm. / MCA (Lateral Entry) for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges.

UPSEE 2020 Result Declaration Date

The AKTU (UP Technical University) will announce the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) Result 2020 soon. The students, who had appeared for the examination, can access their UPSEE 2020 Result at the official website shortly perhaps on or before 30th May 2020.

The candidates, who have submitted their application on time and appeared in the entrance examination as per scheduled mention, will be eligible to check their result for this year by providing required credential. The UPSEE 2020 Result declared by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University will be final. However, the candidates can get their answer sheets scrutinized on payment of Rs.5000/- per paper within seven days of the declaration of result.

UPSEE 2020 Cut off Marks

UPSEE cut off marks are the minimum marks that candidates must require in order to secure their position in the UPSEE Merit List 2020.

As per official notification, the UPSEE cut off percentage of marks in UPSEE-2020 for the merit of successful candidates is 25% (20% for SC/ST) as per UP State Govt. order.

UPSEE 2020 Merit List

The UPSEE Merit List will be prepared for each course based on the performance of the candidates in UPSEE 2020. Merit position, scored card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject shall be available on the official website after the declaration of the result.

In can two or more candidates secure equal marks, inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows:

1. Firstly, by the number of incorrect answers given. A candidate giving lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.
2. Secondly, by age of candidate with higher age will be placed at higher merit. Expect for the following Courses:
   • B. Tech. : By the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry sections of Paper 1 respectively and then by age.*
   • B. Pharm. : By marks obtained in Biology,Chemistry,Physics sections of Paper 2 respectively and then by age.*
   • B. Arch. : By marks obtained in Drawing Aptitude, Mathematics & Aesthetics sensitivity section of Paper 4 respectively and then by age.*
   • B.Tech.(Ag.Engg.) : By marks obtained in AG-I,AG-II,AG-III section of Paper 3 respectively and then by age.*
   • B.Tech. (Bio Tech.): Same as applicable in B.Tech./ B.Pharm.
   • BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/Integrated MBA/MBA/MCA/Lateral entry: *By age only

Successful candidates shall be called for counselling according to their position in UPSEE-2020 merit list by giving intimation through Newspapers and official website. However, the allotment of seat shall depend on the availability of the seats on the day of counseling. The successful candidates are advised to keep a close watch on official websites http://www.aktu.ac.in or http://www.upsee.nic.in and Newspapers for counselling dates. The counselling procedure, counselling schedule and all relevant information regarding counselling will be notified on the official website.
